Dr Michalis Giallourides is a UK trained Consultant Paediatrician with over 20 years of clinical experience, including senior roles in hospital and community settings in the UK, Australia, and now Cyprus. In Cyprus, he is the founder of the Agia Eleni Child Development Network, a growing service dedicated to helping children with learning and developmental needs. Dr Giallourides works as a Personal Doctor under GESY in Rural areas. At Scandinavian Medical Centre he offers private consultations and assessments as a Specialist in Child Development.
Dr Giallourides has additional training and certification in Developmental Paediatrics. He has worked in leading hospitals overseas and is trained in using internationally recognised tools to assess neurodevelopmental conditions (including ADI-R and ADOS-2 for autism).
Dr Giallourides believes in listening carefully to parents and working closely with families, teachers, and other health professionals to give each child the best chance to develop and thrive. He takes a gentle, supportive, and honest approach, making sure every child is seen, heard, and understood.
