Dr. Aggeliki Mina
Dr. Angeliki Mina, originally from Athens, Greece, graduated from Medical School “Universita Degli Studi G. D. Annunzio” di Chieti, Italy in 1999.
Since 2000, she joined the General Hospital of Chios – “Skylitsio” performing duty of rural GP doctor, completed residency programme in general surgery specialization and involved in preventive medical programs of Prefecture of Chios with the scope of coordinating Public Health. In 2004, she joined to a limited liability company “Medical Intervention S.A.” for the reference and drafting services of Medical Reports for patients based at the “Errikos Dinan” hospital until 2005, where she moved to obstetrics and gynecology residency programme at General Hospital of Ioannina “Chatzikosta”.
Being OBGYN specialist licensed in 2009, she assumed duties at General Hospital of Filiates, Thesprotia and later at General Hospital of Chalkida, while she completed her studies in Administration of Health and Welfare Units at Technical University of Kalamata (2010) and obtained a master degree in Health Management from Hellenic Open University (HOU) (2011). At the same time, she was teaching on medical topics in public IEKs of EKAB, in Youth and Lifelong Learning Foundation and in Institute of Continuing Adult Education of Thesprotia and at Municipality of Athens.
In 2014, she relocated to Abu Dhabi of United Arab Emirates, where she worked in big obstetrics and gynecology hospitals and clinics with JCI certifications for quality, safety and effectiveness, practicing based on international protocols (Al Noor Hospital, Danat Al Ema Hospital, Universal Hospital, Mediclinic, NMC Royal Women’s Hospital, Yas Clinic Hospital, Tamara Polyclinics, Medical Park Consultants One Day Surgery Center).
Within a multicultural and intense work environment, she involved in pregnancies follow up:
– high-risk pregnancies due to maternal metabolic syndrome
– pregnancies with an adverse obstetric history,
– multiple pregnancies
– pregnancies with fetal growth disorders,
– high-risk pregnancies due to infertility or prematurity,
and certified in the “prevention of infant mortality through cardiotocography”. She performs cesarean sections, when necessary, but strongly supports normal deliveries, even after cesarean sections (VBACs).
At the same time, she specializes in minimally invasive techniques:
– “Laparoscopic Gynecological Surgery”, by MIS Academy Dubai master program, based on the standards of the European Academy of Gynecological Surgery and in collaboration with the Gynecological Endoscopic Surgery Education and Evaluation Program (GESEA)
– various hysteroscopic techniques, through hands-on seminars (laser, shaver, resectoscope)
– colposcopy and the treatment of cervical pathology
– radio frequency ablation of fibroids
acquiring the ability of effectively manage pathologies regarding the endometrium, uterus and ovaries.
Since 2022, she joined to International Society of Gynecological Endocrinology (ISGE) focused on menstrual endocrine dysfunction and be certified in “hormone therapies for menopause and healthy aging” as well as “hormonal contraception”, infertility and family planning.
She participated in innovative services of gynecology regenerative medicine (stem cells, PRP, hyperbaric), emphasizing in anti-aging treatment of the vagina and pelvis as well as in aesthetic gynecology with surgical and non-surgical perfect aesthetic results.
In 2025, Dr. Angeliki Mina settled in Cyprus where she registered with GESY and maintains her private practice at Scandinavian Medical Center P&P in Limassol.
