Charalambos Charitidis / Neurosurgeon

Charalambos Charitidis was born in Thessaloniki in 1978. He is a graduate of the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He specialized in Neurosurgery at the Neurosurgery Clinic of NIMT Hospital and worked as an Assistant Curator B at the Neurosurgery Clinic of “Asclepius Voula” in Athens.
From 2017 to 2021 he was Head of the Spine Department of IASO Children’s Hospital and then at the “Mother” Clinic. Since January 2018 he has been an External Associate of the 4th Neurosurgery Clinic of the Henri Dunant Hospital Center. In December 2022 he joined the Hellenic National Health Insurance.
From 2013 to 2018 he worked in London. In 2013-2014 he worked as a Specialist Registrar in the Neurosurgical Department of Charing Cross Hospital, Imperial NHS Trust. In 2014-2016 he completed his specialization in adult spine surgery as a Senior Complex Spine Clinical Fellow at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust and at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, UCLH Trust in London. In 2016-2018 he specialized in pediatric spine surgery as a Senior Complex Paediatric Spine Clinical Fellow at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London. In 2018 and 2019 he worked as a Spinal Consultant at Brighton & Sussex University Hospital and Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust.
